Maze STORMGUARD? plain and ring shank cedar shake and shingle nails are double hot-dipped galvanized, which conform to ASTM standard A153, class D and conform to the nail specifications of the cedar shake and shingle bureau for non-saltwater areas. These slender, stiff nails resist splitting, bending and effectively resist rust. Nails should be long enough to penetrate sheathing at least 3/4 in.
